Christian Science churches sponsor free public lectures throughout the year.

Fisrt Churches of Christ, Scientist, in St. Louis, Creve Coeur, and Brentwood, and the Christian Science Society of Lafayette Square, are sponsoring a lecture entitled "Christmas Presence" by Chet Manchester, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship from Ballwin, Missouri. Watchfire recording artist Julia Wade will also take part in the program. The event will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the church located at 475 North Kingshighway at Westminster Place. The one-hour program will include scenes of the Holy Land, inspirational songs, and a message of love and healing for the holidays. Free parking and child care will be provided.
